What is The Pop Rocks Zine about?
You've seen them in action during their years at UA, but how do Pro Heroes Kirishima and Bakugou fare out in the real world? Pop Rocks answers this and more as we explore every possibility under the sun of our favorite duo making it on their own
( and preferably together ;) )

FAQs
Why is the zine 20+ and not 18+?
We appreciate all KiriBaku content creators, regardless of age. However, there is a very large adult fanbase for BNHA/KiriBaku, and we're wanting to create a showcase for that portion of the fandom.
What is the theme of the Zine?
Canonverse or Canon divergent Kirishima and Bakugou working as pro heroes. (That means no coffee shop or Tattoo Artists/Flower Shop worker AU's, as much as we all love those!)
This is a KiriBaku ship zine, so a romantic relationship between the two of them is encouraged as long as they are aged up, pro heroes.
Can I buy the Zine if I’m not 20 years old?
Yes, but you MUST be 18 to buy the NSFW PDF.
What will the final product consist of?
A physical SFW Zine, an NSFW PDF (available for separate purchase), and merch that will include a variety of things.
What is the word limit for final submissions?
The maximum word count for fics is 4k words. This applies both to the physical SFW zine, as well as the NSFW PDF.
What is off limits for the subject matter of my contributions?
The mods ask that you avoid problematic kinks and other potentially triggering content for the purposes of this zine. We are attempting to stick to the canonverse to really appreciate KiriBaku as pro heroes.
Problematic content can include, but is not limited to:
Non-Con/Dub-Con, torture, gratuitous violence/gore, main chracter death, incest, minor/adult relationships, beastiality.
If you have a question whether something is problematic, please ask one of the mods. Additionally, please provide a tag list if necessary.
Do I need Zine experience to apply?
Nope!
I don’t have many followers, is that okay?
Follower count is not something considered when we look at your application. All account sizes are judged equally!
What are the mods looking for?
We are looking for pieces that best showcase your creativity, skills and ideas you can bring to the Zine! A piece with Kirishima and Bakugou is preferred, but not required.
What are the dimensions/what are my options for final submission of an art piece?
The dimensions are A5 (5.8” x 8.3”), with a 0.25 bleed.
One piece, full color, fitting within the dimensions stated above. (A5, 0.25 bleed)
Comics may be no more than four pages.
Two page spreads are allowed, as long as it is established at the concept check or approved by Mod Annie.
If you wish to collaborate with a writer, you must both establish the collaboration at the concept check.
Will I receive feedback as to why I was not accepted?
Unfortunately due to a high number of applicants, the mod team will not be able to provide feedback.
I don’t have a KiriBaku picture/fic, do I still have a chance of being accepted?
Of course! Although we do prefer to see your portrayal of Kirishima and Bakugou, it’s not a requirement to apply and be accepted.
Do the mods have Zine experience?
Our team all have some degree of successful Zine or Bang experiences, whether it be participating or modding.
The only one of our mods without Zine experience is Mod Meg, and she works in a related field out in the real world.
If you have specific questions about mods, please feel free to reach out.
Is the Zine for profit or non-profit?
PopRocks is for profit. This means any profits generated by the project will go to the contributors.
What can I expect if I am chosen for the Zine?
You can expect regular updates and transparency from the mod team, and you get to work with some amazing fandom contributors! Please come ready to have fun
I have a really specific question I can’t find the answer to.
